ARTFUL with Shannon McHone

Based in the theory of process art, we focus on the importance of the creative journey over the end-product. Each session opens with a guided meditation followed by open exploration of art materials which may include: collage, painting, print-making, beading, and sensory play.

Workshop Instructor: Shannon McHone - Art as Healing Facilitator

Shannon is a lifelong learner and lover of nature and art. She currently works at Gundersen Health System as a Behavioral Health Coordinator. Additionally, she facilitates sacred circles and offers energy healing through Reiki and intuitive readings. As a Wisconsin Master Naturalist, you can find her volunteering with local outdoor programs and educating about bats! Over the past 20 years, Shannon has worked in behavioral health, managed non-profit organizations and taught art and nature programs. She is passional about spirituality, to better understand the self, relationships and how we are all connected.
